in the past, i've suggested reserving all of the records on the boards for registered users only, but it's never generated any response here.

I really don't want to scroll through 11 pages to see if my suggestions have been put in ( sorry D: ), but I have a couple ideas:
1.) Rotating the board using a keystroke Maybe make it possible to rotate the board using a key on the keyboard (I think the spacebar would be a great use personally) 2.) Null out the numbers I don't know how many other people do this, but sometimes when I move my mouse to click "rotate" and then put my fingers back on the keyboard, I may misplace them and type numbers instead. The suggestion is that if there is a way to null out the numbers, that would be amazing. 3.)Word Counter Last suggestion- when I type the words, I like to know how many words in the puzzle are left(Edited) during the session of play (/edit), that way I try to achieve them all. If there was a way to check off the words as you score them, I would love that. If you still don't follow, here's an example: I find the word "Mixer" and the marker says: 1/65 words complete I find the word "Mixers" and the marker says: 2/65 words complete Etc... I hope I didn't do any reposts! D: Last edited by StrawberryCancer : 01-16-2010 at 01:17 AM. |

I see that others have requested the ability to turn off the timer and play non competitively. I'd use it a lot. It would be a great way to improve and also challenge yourself to find every single word.
There would need to be an END button so you could compare your words to the database. |

One very minor suggestion: there are quite a few words with a pair of z's in them: buzz, dizzy, jazz, sizzle, drizzle, dazzle, etc.
Maybe one out of every 500 Boggle boards could give us a pair of z's? It just seems incomplete that these words do not exist, ever, in this game. Thanks! |

Real Boggle has a QU not just a Q.

I would love to play with a specific person who is online. If there could be a way to invite them to play a game one on one?

Try playing Prolific on Facebook. You can invite people to 1v1 challenge games there.

I'd love to see the puzzle stats again on the game-over page, when I'm trying to remember if the longest word was found.

1. Instead of having only the highest scoring word by each player in the hall-of-fame for each month, allow players to have multiple words. For example, I found squattiest (22 points) this month, but I've also found 20 point, 19 point and multiple 18 point words this month. That way people can see that certain players don't just get lucky, but find perhaps dozens of high scoring words each month. And I'm not just saying this for me...there are so many players who get many more high scoring and obscure words than I do.
2. Don't state who has the highest score until AFTER the game has been played. Keep the amount of letters for longest word and the points for best word, but by putting the players names anyone can go and find past hall-of-fame words by using the players name before even playing the board, therefore ensuring that they will get that high scoring or long word. I did it about 6 or 7 times, though I don't do it anymore because I've memorized most of the highest scoring words. 3. Ever thought of a 6x6 board? Or would that be too difficult logistically? I like this idea too. Guests can play and compare their results with registered users, but they won't get to keep any records they may have set.
