I seem to remember people here mentioning some words that should be (or at least started out) capitalised, but that have passed into common usage & are accepted. I think it's kind of a crap shoot there. I am surprised that Luddite isn't one of them. If you get the chance, try neoluddite. That shouldn't be capitalized. (I probably shouldn't even suggest PALEONEOLUDDITENESSES.)

So... I just found ICHTHYOPHAGE and tried it a bunch of times thinking it had to count if it was that long and I might have misspelled it.

No luck. It's definitely in a bunch of dictionaries.
