For some reason, even though the plural OBJECTIVIZATIONS is accepted, the singular OBJECTIVIZATION isn't.

Just got credit for UNCHEERFULNESS but not the plural UNCHEERFULNESSES. On the same board, CHEERFULNESS and CHEERFULNESSES both counted.

Should have gotten credit for ROTATIONAL and ROTATIONALLY. Both words are in all Scrabble dictionaries.

I don't think it's a PC decision. I've gotten JEWS and JEWED before. I've also gotten JAPS.

Just found "chromatophilic" and thought it was the long word but it wouldn't accept it. Found it as time ran out so I didn't have a chance to type "chromatophilia," which was also there, and see if that worked. But chromatophilic is definitely a word.

The biochemistry nerd in me is annoyed that THOLIN wasn't accepted.

Tholins have been in astronomy news a lot in recent years, since they have been found on in various places in the solar system and are believed to be potential precursors to life.

JAPS, in this sense, is not the racial slur.

The definition of "jap" in the Oxford English Dictionary:

(Of a liquid) spatter or splash over a surface:
"the boiling water is japping from the spout"

Similarly, the word TEXAS does not refer to the US state, but to the top deck of a steamboat.
